Mel began working in the drug store when he was a child cleaning and stocking shelves. After receiving a Management Degree from the University of Arkansas, he joined Collier Drug full-time. He became the Operations Manager in 1998 and became sole owner in 2007. Mel is a lifelong resident of Fayetteville. He married his wife, Amie Collier, in 2014 and together they have four children and two grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and working with cars.
Originally from South Texas, Amie moved to Mountain Home in 1994 to be near family. In 1999, Amie started her career in accounting working for a cellular phone company. In 2012, she met Mel Collier and they were married in 2014. She joined Collier Drug store in 2014 and helped with account payable/receivable. In 2017, she took over the Accounting Department and is currently still in that position. Together, with her husband, they have four children and two grandchildren. In her free time, Amie enjoys spending time with her family and grandbaby as well as camping.
Kathryn began working for Collier Drug Stores in 2010 as an intern while attending the College of Pharmacy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), both in Little Rock and the Northwest Arkansas campus. In 2013, she graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the top of her class and as a Jordin Scholar. Kathryn was thrilled to start with Colliers full-time following her graduation and plans to stay with the Collier family until her retirement. She enjoys meeting and interacting with our great customers to build long-lasting relationships. Kathryn is an Arkansas Department of Health International Travel Vaccine Provider.
Kathryn lives in Rogers, AR with her husband, Thomas (who is also a pharmacist), their two children, and her 2 dogs. When she isn’t taking care of business at work she enjoys watching movies and football (Go Hogs, Go Dawgs!), reading books, and roughhousing with her pups.
Originally from Sherwood, Arkansas, Lauren came to Fayetteville, as many do, to attend the University of Arkansas in 2011. She began working at Collier Drug in 2014 as a pharmacy technician/cashier part time while she attended school. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, she started working full-time as a pharmacy technician. In 2017, she moved back into the admin office as the Administrative Assistant and Marketing Coordinator. She simultaneously earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resource and Workforce Management in 2019. In 2020, she became the HR Manager and enjoys working with employees and patients in this role very much. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to and watching true crime productions, attending musicals and theatre, as well as advocating for animals and animal rescue groups.
A Fayetteville native, Curtis attended Fayetteville Public Schools and the University of Arkansas. Curtis began working as a delivery driver in 1980. In 1985, Curtis became a pharmacy technician and then moved into IT in 1990 and is now the Chief Information Officer. Curtis has helped Collier Drug adopt multiple computer systems over the years and enjoys working with technology. Curtis enjoys spending time with his family including his dog, Rosie, and two cats, Tara and Sunshine, reading, and flying planes in his free time.
Another Fayetteville native who attended Fayetteville High School and the University of Arkansas, Lee Holt first worked for Collier Drug in 1988 in the photography department. He was visiting his dad, Don Holt, one day when the manager at the Dickson store told him to apply for the position. Since his grandmother, aunt, and father had all previously or currently worked for Collier Drug, his father warned him that ‘he better not hear any complaints about Lee if he was offered the job’. Lee was offered the job after an interview and worked for Collier Drug (without complaint) until 2005. He then worked for the University of Arkansas Library until 2019 when he came back to Collier Drug as an IT employee. Lee enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially during game nights. He also enjoys photography and his three cats, Merry, Pippin, and Mist.
Linda is a native of Fayetteville, attending Fayetteville Public Schools as well as the University of Arkansas. She has been an employee of Collier Drug since 2000 in Accounts Receivable as well as various other areas of the business office. She enjoys getting to know and visiting with people which is an important part of her job. Collier’s has been a part of her life since Junior High School when the soda fountain was in the front part of the drug store, a daily stop on the way home from school. She is married to Gary Howard and has three daughters and nine grandchildren who are all a large portion of her life. She loves cooking and entertaining family and friends. She and Gary enjoy supporting the Fayetteville Bulldogs as well as the Razorbacks. They never turn down the opportunity to attend a play or musical production. Rufus and Roxy, their two dogs, are also a large part of their life.
Brittany first started working full time for Collier Drug in 2014 as a cashier after the Collier family noticed her excellent customer service at Pizza Hut. They offered her an interview and the rest is history! She became a technician in 2016 at the Dickson location, eventually becoming the lead technician in 2019. She worked full time all while attending the University of Arkansas. In 2021, she became the Clinical Technician and assists our Manager of Pharmacy Operations, Brenna Neumann, with all of our clinical services and events. In her free time, she loves spending time with her daughter, going bowling, and floating with family and friends.
Sam is a graduate from West Fork and started her career with Collier Drug as a cashier in 2010 at the Dickson store. She became a pharmacy technician in 2011 and moved to our Farmington store in 2012. She was there until 2014 when she accepted a position at our Prairie Grove store. She was a lead technician there until 2021 when she was offered the position of Administrative Assistant at the main office on Dickson Street. She has been a vital member of our COVID response team since and has helped at clinics and with billing processes. Additionally, she trains new technicians at a local community college. When she is not at work, she loves spending time with family, attending concerts, overlanding, and crafting.
